Brooklyn 99 (Netflix) We binged season 5 as soon as it went onto Netflix. The humour can be a bit silly, but I love all of the characters and it never fails to make me laugh. I can now watch season 6 as it comes out each week on e4.
The End of the F**king World (Netflix/All 4) - I'm a bit late to the party on this one, but it was weird yet compelling and I watched the whole series in a week. It's been confirmed that a second season is happening so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled.
Queer Eye (Netflix) - I LOVE this so much. I know it's essentially a makeover show, but it's fun, heartwarming and nearly always makes me cry. Spoiler alert: tissues at the ready for episode 6!
In April I am looking forward to the return of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Game of Thrones.
Products I've been loving
B.Hydrated Booster (Superdrug) - this hyaluronic acid booster can be used alone or mixed into moisturiser. It's really light and refreshing to use, in contrast to a lot of hyaluronic acid serums which can feel quite tacky on the skin. Bonus points for coming in a glass bottle rather than plastic.
Charity Pot (Lush) - this is a thick, slightly greasy, hand and body lotion. It isn't strong smelling and is a great basic. I've been using it on my nails, cuticles and knuckles which tend to be the driest part of my hands. A little bit goes a long way. I have the small metal tin which I keep on my desk at work, but it also comes in a larger black plastic pot or a solid version.
What I've been doing
21 Pilots (Wembley Arena, 8th March) - hands down one of the best gigs I have ever been to. The fact that there are only two of them did nothing to take away the impact of the show. There were so many effects, costume changes and surprises - they certainly know how to put on a good show.
Panic! At The Disco (London O2, 28th March) - What a throwback! Although they didn't actually play much off the first album (which came out when I was 14!) this was good fun. Brendan Urie's voice is incredible - I couldn't believe some of the high notes he was hitting! Their music has moved away from it's emo roots a bit, but it was upbeat, inclusive and generally a great atmosphere.
Cambridge Half Marathon - I definitely didn't train enough for this (as usual) but I pushed myself on the day and managed a respectable 1:55 (not too far off my PB of 1:52). I'm now taking a bit of break from running and focusing on what I enjoy more which is weight-based workouts.
